The Concept of Time, and the Time Construct

We all believe that we have a good knowledge of Time; we have defined intervals for Time so that we may identify its passing. We have created mechanical and electronic devices that we use to measure Time (or more precisely, the passage of Time). We have defined interval periods for Time, from an instantaneous period, to millennia. But it only in the realm of theoretical physics that scientists have begun to think of Time in other terms. So perhaps it is appropriate to discuss the vast nature of Time, and why it deserved to have a Construct devoted to it.

We have written before about the need for, and origination of, the concept of linear Time.  It enabled Energies to “measure” or quantify events in a linear manner; this turned out to be important in order to enable events in the other Constructs, and provide a record of those events. There were also efforts to quantify intervals of linear Time, primarily to gauge the passing of Time on a larger scale (such as the time for a life of a Galaxy), or to measure the time of existence of many elementary particles.  It also enabled the establishment of many of the physical constants that exist throughout creation, many of which are unknown on Terra.

There is a relationship that exists between Time and elements of the Physical Construct – specifically, dimensions. Although Time is not a formal dimension in and of itself, Time does have other properties that exist in specific dimensions; and in the higher dimensions (dimensions above the 13th), linear Time does not truly exist – Time exists in the context of an applied theory: it is a point source, it is linear, it is spatial, and it is all encompassing, all at once. But Time, as it is currently understood on Terra, only exists linearly in the first, second, third, and forth dimensions. Between the 5th and 12th dimensions, Time exists in what Terran scientists would describe as “multiple states”.

In the truest sense, Time is not “linear”; the Time Construct made provisions for Time to be interpreted as linear to allow for a perception that Time would pass. This also supports many of the physical constants that are necessary for all that is “physical” to exist.  But at the higher Dimensions, Time is a point source, it is spatial, it is non-linear, and it “flows”. All of these additional concepts of Time vary widely, by Universe, and in some cases within the larger Universes.

Time is not uniform in all locations – there exist “gaps” or “holes” in Time as one travels from location to location. Time in some locations is subject to the effects of gravity. In some locations, Time behaves as though it was physical – it will deform due to external effects, it will flow when acted upon by certain external forces, and it can change its characteristics to those seeking to use or view it.

Time can be perceived in different ways by different beings, it is a question of perspective. Consider the beating wings of a hummingbird; does the hummingbird perceive the passage of Time at the same rate as humans? This type of perception of the passage of Time is documented in the Life Construct; how Time is perceived depends on the particular species, the location, and the Time characteristics of the location, all factors which are included in the Soul Contract of the individual.

So if you were to travel through Space, would Time be continuous?  It would not; Time is not uniform in all locations.  For instance, Time may not pass at the same rate as you travel through Space (but it still may have linear characteristics); it may not exist in some locations (yet if you were in one of these zones, you would age, since aging is a biological process independent of Time); it may behave in a non-linear fashion (it might appear as though you are in a location where the rate of passage of Time varies – what humans call a second of Time could also be an hour of Time); Time in some locations may exhibit or have different constants that govern its behavior.

So what is Time?  This is a difficult question. Time is like a fabric, with voids or areas without time sprinkled throughout; it is like a uniform passing wave; It is capable of contorting, either on its own or under the influence of another. Time is self aware in higher dimensions (above the 13th), but it is not sentient. It is not physical, nor is it Energy, but it governs processes involving both physical and Energy. Time can present a paradox with respect to the Physical, yet remain linear. Time can exist in different dimensions at the same time, and may behave differently in each, yet have interdependencies.

Time is governed by over 10,000 different constants, implementations, and requirements. Time was originally conceived as a means for preserving information regarding events that occurred in a linear manner. But as the use, understanding, and complexity of the Constructs grew, there was a desire to provide a mechanism that would allow for a degree of simplification, as well as maintaining a degree of “ground truth” – providing a means to keep track of events that occurred, together with a means to record events both before and after. Time is not the same in each Universe, each Universe has implemented Time as it chooses, but Time must abide by the rules of the Time Construct. There are rules for Time that few can disregard; one of these is going back in Time (it should be noted that there is a difference between “going back in Time” and “observing events in the past”). The reason that “going back in Time is not allowed is because 1) it could establish a Time paradox, which could erase the existence of the person enabling the events associated with the paradox, and 2) it could allow an individual(s) to change events in the past in order to alter a future outcome (either with or without creating a paradox). 2) could also lead to all of creation being eliminated if one were to go back further in Time.

The laws and implementations that govern Time are complex, and in some cases they are dependent on elements of one or more of the other Constructs. And they are not bound by the laws of any Science that is known on Terra. As an example of the complexities one may encounter, assume that a group of individuals are traveling from the Milky Way to the Andromeda Galaxy. One the way, you will encounter a black hole, which when approached, Time will appear to “slow down”, yet those in the spacecraft may not notice an immediate impact on them. Later in the trip, the craft may encounter areas of space where Time is not uniform; here, Life with a relatively short lifespan (like small animals and plants) may either grow very fast, or appear to not grow at all, depending on the density of Time in that particular location. In yet another part of the journey, the craft may encounter and pass through a wormhole – an area of space that may resemble a conduit between two places in space that are far apart (yes, they do exist); linear Time does exist within the bounds of a wormhole, but it is relative to the wormhole, and not the space surrounding the wormhole.

Finally, Time can be relative, meaning that Time will appear differently to two or more observers in different locations. But Time will also be relative to either itself, or Time in another location or manifestation. For instance, Time may appear to have different characteristics to Time at another location, and it is independent of Space and Physical Existence as defined in the Physical Construct. It is important to understand that “science” as it exists on Terra is unable to comprehend many of the complexities of Time, because it is difficult to conceive of, and because work in a single dimension will have difficulty describing concepts in Dimensions that they have never experienced.

Can I use time travel to change a poor decision?

Many people might have a desire to be able to travel back in time to do something different, or make a different decision, that would lead to a different (and possibly better) result. Is this something that might be possible?

Unfortunately, the answer is no.

I spoke in another post about some of the complexities and nature of time; how time is treated in a linear fashion (and why), and cases where time is something other than linear. When the concepts behind the establishment of time were first thought of, the Leadership of the Central Sun had to make decisions about time that would ultimately be reflected in the Time Construct. Those decisions also had to take into account the context of time with respect to the other Constructs, and we wanted to make sure that a situation was created in which somebody could use time (or any of the other Constructs) in a way that would result in the damage or destruction of the Constructs or the Existence that had been created. We clearly believed that of all of the Constructs, the concept of time might present a simple way to effectively damage all that had been developed.

To counter the possibility of damage, it was decided that the concept of Linear Time would be implemented in a manner that would not allow for any Soul, whether incarnate or not, to travel either forwards or backwards in time. Although there was an understanding that there could be distinct advantages to time travel (specifically having to do with making different decisions during an incarnation), it was felt that the potential for damage and mayhem was too great. For instance, if a Soul were going through an incarnation, and a poor decision were to be made (particularly a decision where another individual was harmed), it would be rather easy to have an ability to go back in time and make a different decision that would have a different outcome (hopefully a more positive outcome).

But then think about the complexities of this in the context of developing a Life Contract prior to an incarnation. Every possible decision would have to involve the possibility of traveling back in time to make a different decision, possibly multiple times. In effect, a do-over. Since each new possibility would require coordination with other Souls that you would encounter in each life, it would be exceedingly difficult – much more so if everybody had the option of going back in time as well.

Another reason for not allowing one to go back in time would have to do with the motives. If a person were to get a chance to go back in order to make a different decision, what incentive would that give somebody to make a reasoned and thought out decision the first time? There would be no incentive. There is also the case where a Soul would want to go back in order to (as an example) to use the winning lottery numbers on the day they were drawn. Aside from the element of greed involved here, the other major issue here is that once you go back and begin making changes, you effectively change the path, so that the lottery numbers that you expect to use to win would no longer be valid.

But the most important reason that traveling through time was not permitted is because it could allow a malevolent Soul to go back through time, with an intent to either create havoc or to begin to destroy creation.

There is another aspect of time travel that must also be mentioned, going forward in time. This would present the same issues as mentioned above from the perspective of a karmic Soul path. But more important, the person going forward in time could be at a distinct disadvantage; they would be unaware of any new technologies or social situations that would exist, and may not be able to adapt to them, resulting in significant difficulty. And they would not be able to go back to their own time – that is still not allowed. So going forward in time would provide no advantage, and would leave the traveling Soul in an awkward and difficult time and place.

At an extreme, it would still not be possible to go back in time to attempt to change the events leading up to (for instance) World War 2. While one could believe that stopping the events and changing the Soul paths of those involved, you must remember that each involved Soul is on its own karmic path, and is seeking to balance their own karma. So unilaterally changing these kinds of events could cause significant karmic debt by the traveling Soul.

Finally, in both of these time travel situations, the danger to the time traveling Soul, in the form of accumulating karma, is a significant risk. Anytime one Soul begins to manipulate the timelines of another Soul, there is always a distinct opportunity for accumulating karmic debt.

The Concept of Time

Time is a very complex topic to discuss, but I would like to begin this discussion by saying that time exists in many different states. In some cases, time exhibits linear characteristics, in others time can be non-linear, and in other cases, it just “is” – there is no time (which some would interpret as meaning that all time exists at the same time). The reality is far more complex, which is why an entire Construct was devoted to describing time and all of the rules that would apply to it.

When elements first began to be formed during early creation, it was noticed that some of these physical elements (as we know them now) began to degrade, or turn into other structures. The elements decomposed due to instability (we now know this to be radioactive decay). There was a desire to understand this decomposition, and to try to determine how often it occurred. This was the initial impetus for developing the concept of Linear Time.

Time exists independent of space, and can exist independent of the Physical. Linear Time can pass at different rates, depending on many different factors and situations. Time can appear to be relative – how it is experienced may depend on the vantage point from where it is viewed. The Libraries of the Central Sun exist without regard to time, even though many of the records that are maintained there are of events that occur in the context of Linear Time. When a Librarian seeks to query the information, it must be done without reference to time – in essence, the Librarian must exist independent of Time in order to exist there.

There is one “problem” with all of this that many people do not consider. Linear Time, and to a degree Non-Linear Time, must have a reference point – a point where the coordinates are known. Every being that begins an existence in Linear Time exists from the perspective of a reference point. For humans on Terra, that reference point is generally associated with their birth. All that came before this point is history, it happened and they can determine what it was because of records kept with respect to that reference point. By moving from Linear Time to an area of independent Time – where Linear Time (and Non-Linear Time) does not exist, you will lose access to that reference point. You will be able to see events that occur in Linear Time, but you may not be able to know when those events occur. As an example, I can see that an event has occurred, and in some cases will occur, and I can see that the time interval, either until the event will occur (or when the event occurred in the past) is 30 days. But because I no longer have an anchor to a reference point, I am unable to to tell you 30 minutes from when.

My intent is not to provide a full explanation of Time, nor is it my intent to describe all of the different parameters of time in all dimensions. My intent is to help people understand that time is incredibly complex, and not well understood. If people are interested in knowing more, please ask your questions, and I will try to provide a coherent answer, given the limitations of the languages of the existence we currently reside in.

Finally, there is one rule with respect to Time that may not be disregarded: Linear and Non-Linear Time are absolute and must be adhered to. What this means is that no soul that resides or exists within the Construct of Linear or Non-Linear Time may travel through Time, either forward or backward. This rule exists in order to ensure the sanctity of the Time Construct, as well as existence.
